Are 4 bins the answer to Victoria's waste problem?

A view on short and long-term solutions

In late February 2020, the Victorian Government introduced its first major change to state recycling policy – a consistent kerbside four bin system by 2030 and a container deposit scheme.

While this was welcome news to many, in The Conversation BehaviourWorks’ waste expert, Jenni Downes, discusses how councils and other stakeholders need to implement the policy in order to make it effective.
